Aalberts: 13% organic growth in third quarter, revenue above expectations
Aalberts published on October 22, 2026 an EBITA of 113.8 million euros in the third quarter of 2026. Its EBITA margin stood at 13.8%, and the Dutch group indicated an improvement in organic growth and EBITA margin in each of its three segments.
During its half-yearly publication on July 23, 2026, it cited the cost of raw materials among the risks likely to weigh on margins. Management also signaled a new acceleration in demand in semiconductors, linked to investments in artificial intelligence. It said it was confident in its ability to achieve organic growth and EBITA margin for the full year above those of 2025.
€823.3 million in revenue and 13.8% EBITA margin in the third quarter
In the third quarter of 2026, Aalberts achieved revenue of 823.3 million euros. This represents organic growth of 13.0% compared to the third quarter of the previous year.
This level is above expectations. According to consensus gathered on October 19, 2026 from three analysts, quarterly revenue was anticipated on average at 769 million euros, in a range between 759 and 776 million euros. The published amount therefore exceeds the top of this range.
EBITA stands at 113.8 million euros, representing a margin of 13.8%. The group specifies that its value-added margin remained at a good level.
Semiconductors and industrial segment driven by mix, building more mixed
The progression is supported by several end markets that management considers well-positioned: data centers, aeronautics, energy production, defense and semiconductors. These same markets were already among the growth drivers cited during the half-yearly publication in July 2026. Automotive and residential building are described as stable.
In the Industrial and Semiconductor segments, EBITA margin was maintained at a good level, according to the group, thanks to favorable product mix. In semiconductors, Chief Executive Officer Stéphane Simonetta reported customer demand "that continues to accelerate", driven by investments linked to artificial intelligence.
The Building segment recorded "mixed" performance. The group indicates, however, that organic growth and EBITA margin improved in all three segments.
On the industrial front, Aalberts is pursuing two initiatives in parallel. In Building and Industrial, it is conducting operational excellence programs and optimizing its industrial footprint. It is simultaneously investing in its production capacity in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia in order to meet higher demand in end markets it considers promising.
Share buyback of nearly €75 million completed, annual improvement targeted
On October 12, 2026, Aalberts announced the completion of its share buyback program intended for capital reduction. Initiated on February 27, 2026, it was completed on October 9, 2026. In total, 2,068,007 shares were repurchased for an amount of 74,999,387 euros, or nearly 75 million euros, and the group plans to cancel them.
For the end of the fiscal year, management indicates it is entering the fourth quarter with positive momentum and an order book it describes as "healthy". Before this publication, nine analysts in the consensus anticipated 2026 annual revenue of 3.07 billion euros on average. As a reminder, the group had achieved 3,090.8 million euros in fiscal year 2025.
Based on current conditions in its end markets, Aalberts said it was confident in its ability to achieve organic growth and EBITA margin in 2026 above those of 2025. It continues the deployment of its "Thrive 2030" strategy. The third quarter provided the latest quantified reference point: 13.0% organic growth and 13.8% EBITA margin.
