Abeo: its subsidiary Vogo obtains FIBA certification for Vogosport Elite
In a press release published on October 28, 2026 in Montpellier, Vogo, a member of the ABEO group, announced that this approval makes its Vogosport Elite solution accessible to all national basketball federations. The company intends to use it to develop its commercial offerings in this discipline.
Vogosport Elite certified, following FIFA certifications in 2023
The Instant Replay System (IRS) certification issued by FIBA, the governing body of world basketball, covers Vogosport Elite, the group's instant replay platform and video assistance to decision-making solution. This solution allows referees and officials to review game actions.
According to the press release, this approval is part of "the continuity of the Group's strategy aimed at developing solutions meeting the requirements of major international sporting competitions". It follows the FIFA certifications obtained in 2023 by the Vogosport range.
A deployment supported by the international network and the ABEO group
To exploit this certification, Vogo indicates it wishes to rely on the complementary expertise of its solutions, on its international references and on its membership in the ABEO group. The company describes a market marked by the rising importance of video assistance to refereeing and by increasing requirements in terms of reliability and performance.
The group reports a presence in more than 40 countries and solutions deployed in 25 sporting disciplines. In addition to its French sites in Montpellier, Grenoble and Paris, it has two subsidiaries in North America and the United Kingdom, as well as a network of around thirty distributors.
