Advicenne: Likozam to be Reimbursed Starting June 2026, Claims €6M from the State
Advicenne, a specialty pharmaceutical group, announced on Monday that Likozam (clobazam) will be covered by the French social security system starting June 12, 2026. This decision concludes the early access program and simplifies the group's financial structure.
A Decision that Concludes the Early Access Program
The publication of the reimbursement decision in the Official Journal allows the distribution of Likozam in retail pharmacies. The set price of €92.24, tax included, for the 150 ml presentation ends the so-called 'early access' (AAP) mechanism, which required Advicenne to return up to 80% of the revenues generated by the product. This system complicated the financial transparency of the group by making it difficult to interpret commercial data.
A Significant Reduction in Debt
The obtained reimbursement price creates a claim of approximately €6 million from the French state. This claim offsets a substantial portion of the group's debt to the government, incurred under the early access program. Advicenne will also record a reversal of provisions of about €1.4 million related to the closure of the program. The group emphasizes that this automatic debt reduction is a major factor in its ongoing financial restructuring.
