Agfa-Gevaert: Kurt Decat appointed to the chair of the audit committee
Kurt Decat assumes the chairmanship of the audit committee of Agfa-Gevaert and succeeds Mark Pensaert, who held this position on an interim basis since June 3, 2026.
The board of directors of Agfa-Gevaert NV announced on August 25, 2026 that it had coopt, at its meeting on the same day, Kurt Decat (permanent representative of Decatvisory BV) as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect. He will also chair the company's audit committee.
He succeeds Mark Pensaert (permanent representative of MRP Consulting BV), who exercised this function on an interim basis since June 3, 2026.

Born in 1965 and of Belgian nationality, Kurt Decat holds a degree in commercial engineering ("handelsingenieur") and a Master of Business Administration, both obtained from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He began his career as an auditor in 1988 at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
He subsequently held positions in finance and management at FedEx, Minit, Domo and Corus Aluminium. In 2003, he joined Taminco as group financial director and member of the executive committee, before becoming financial director of Sibelco in 2015, then of Versuni between 2022 and 2024. He currently holds the mandates of independent director of Cegeka Holding and chairman of the board of Anchr Holdings Europe.
