Amundi: Successful Employee-Only Capital Increase
Amundi has announced the successful completion of a capital increase reserved for employees, featuring significant participation both internationally and in France.
Broad Employee Participation
According to Amundi's press release, nearly 2,500 employees across 15 countries subscribed to this capital increase, totaling an amount of 43.4 million euros. The operation, announced last September and titled 'We Share Amundi', offered a subscription of shares at a reduced price for the ninth consecutive year. Almost half of the employees worldwide and more than two-thirds in France participated in this initiative. The total number of shares issued is 967,064, representing 0.47% of the capital prior to this operation.
Limited Impact on Earnings Per Share
As indicated by the company, the impact of this operation on the net earnings per share will be limited. Following the capital increase, employees now own about 2.5% of Amundi's capital, up from 2.1% before the operation. This initiative aims to involve employees in Amundi's development and economic value creation, thereby strengthening their sense of belonging to the company.
