ArcelorMittal shares fall 2% and remain below their three moving averages
The steelmaker slips to the lower part of the CAC 40 early in the afternoon, in a Paris market that is flat. The stock is trading below its short- and long-term benchmarks, two days ahead of its third-quarter results.
Price below the MA20, MA50 and MA200 after a one-month decline
ArcelorMittal shares fall 1.95% to €54.42, while the CAC 40 drops 0.06%. The decline places the stock below its three moving averages: the MA20 at €55.27 is 1.5% above the price, and the MA200 at €55.43 is 1.8% above.
The stock had returned to touch this level in late October, with a rebound of nearly 3%, but failed to hold it durably. Over one month, the loss reaches 5%, although the week remains positive at +3%. The support at €52.82, broken intraday on October 28, lies about 3% below the current price.
