ArcelorMittal shares rebound nearly 3% and return to their 200-day moving average
The steelmaker regains ground late in the session, in a Parisian market trending higher. This recovery follows a marked one-month decline, as the stock returns to a long-term benchmark.
The share price nonetheless remains slightly below its 200-day moving average at €55.24 (a gap of 0.54%) and more clearly below its 50-day moving average at €60.32, which illustrates the distance still to cover to return to the level of a month ago.
The stock is still down 10.4% over one month, but the RSI at 42 remains neutral and the day's gain only partly offsets this decline.

The next scheduled event is the publication of third-quarter 2026 results, expected on November 5. It follows the first-half accounts, published on July 30, 2026, in which management presented positive outlooks in the short, medium and long term, with strong shareholder returns.
On this front, the group announced on May 19 a €614 million share buyback programme, executed at approximately 100% by the end of June: €985 million of shares were repurchased over twelve months, or 2.3% of market capitalisation. The share price trajectory therefore remains tied to this November 5 date.
Positive outlook across the near, medium and long term with robust shareholder returns and structurally higher quality earnings
