Argan Delivers a 12,000 sqm Extension to Celio at the Amblainville Site
On Tuesday, Argan delivered a 12,000 sqm extension to the logistics site operated by Celio in Amblainville (Oise). The site now spans a total area of 55,000 sqm and is certified with the AutOnom label, incorporating advanced environmental standards.
A 12,000 sqm Extension for Celio's Central Platform
Operational since 2012, the Amblainville site has gradually become Celio's central logistics platform in Europe. Following an initial expansion in 2017, this new phase brings the total surface area of the site to 55,000 sqm. The site enjoys optimal accessibility, located immediately next to the A16 highway near the Île-de-France region.
This operation is part of a long-term lease agreement for a fixed duration of 10 years covering the entire site, confirming Celio's long-term commitment to this location. The extension supports the brand's development, which recently incorporated the assets of Camaïeu and initiated the development of a women's fashion line, complementing its traditional focus on men's apparel.
Energy Performance Transformed Through the AutOnom Concept
The extension provided an opportunity to deeply transform the energy performance of the site. The building is now equipped with a rooftop photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 400 kWp dedicated to self-consumption, storage batteries with a capacity of 250 kWh, and a heating system using heat pumps instead of gas installations.
These facilities significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the site, with CO₂ emissions cut by four times, including the extension.
