Argan Delivers Two 54,000 m² Logistic Platforms to Ferrero Near Rouen
On July 2, 2026, Argan delivered two logistic platforms to Ferrero, located near Rouen. These two sites, developed by SPI Group and Batilogistic, have a total area of 54,000 m² and both are certified with the AutOnom label from the specialized real estate firm in logistic warehouses.
Two 54,000 m² Sites at the Gates of Rouen
The first platform, located in Cléon, covers an area of 34,000 m² including an office block of 1,400 m². It features five storage cells equipped with controlled temperature (14/18°C) and was delivered in May 2026. The site has a 660 kWp photovoltaic power station intended for self-consumption, supplemented by storage batteries with a capacity of 200 kWh. The annual production of renewable energy reaches 530 MWh, allowing for an annual saving of 28 tonnes of CO₂.
The second platform, situated in Barentin to the north of Rouen, was delivered in early July 2026. Spanning 20,000 m², it offers positive cold storage capacities (2/5°C) over a third of its area, with the remainder dedicated to controlled temperature (14/18°C). A 790 kWp photovoltaic power station supplies the site with green electricity, preventing the emission of 33 tonnes of CO₂ annually.
Ten-Year Leases
Both leases are concluded for a duration of ten years, reflecting, according to Argan, 'the strength of the partnership' between the two parties. Cléon, which has become Ferrero's largest logistics site in France, is located very close to Rouen and the A13 highway. The site can store 50,000 pallets and serves the northern half of the country. These two new sites strengthen the industrial and logistic setup of the agri-food group in Normandy, a region where Ferrero operates several production factories.
Investment Plan of €165 Million in 2026
The group emphasizes that these two deliveries are part of its investment plan of €165 million deployed over the fiscal year 2026. These acquisitions follow the delivery, a few days earlier, of a platform for Danone in Sorigny (Indre-et-Loire).
