Argenx Presents New Vyvgart Data at AANEM and MGFA Congresses
The immunology group listed on Euronext and Nasdaq announced the presentation of clinical, long-term and real-world data on Vyvgart and candidates from its portfolio at the AANEM and MGFA scientific session congresses, held in Orlando from September 29 to October 2, 2026.
These presentations cover myasthenia gravis (MG), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) as well as the molecules empasiprubart and adimanebart.
Vyvgart Expanded to New Patient Populations
Argenx indicated that the data presented concern the expansion of Vyvgart use in myasthenia gravis, including in patient populations historically absent from clinical trials.
According to Luc Truyen, medical director of the group, the ambition is to benefit the greatest number of patients while simplifying treatment decisions for clinicians managing MG and CIDP, with "a clear treatment choice regardless of the patient's antibody status".
The company also reported data supporting the interest of earlier treatment in MG and CIDP.
Empasiprubart and Adimanebart for Other Mechanisms
Beyond Vyvgart, Argenx presented results concerning empasiprubart and adimanebart, two molecules that target distinct mechanisms in neuromuscular diseases described as still under-treated.
The group specified that the results of a phase 2 study of empasiprubart in multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN) support its potential as selective complement therapy of a biological pathway.
The presentations also include long-term data and a phase 4 study regarding direct transition from IVIg in CIDP.
