Atos Group share breaks through its resistance at €25.76 after a reassuring Q3
The IT services group is enjoying one of the strongest gains on the Paris stock exchange, following a highly anticipated quarterly publication. A technical threshold that has been monitored for several weeks has given way during the session, while the Paris market remains slightly positive.
A third quarter that limits organic decline to 2.4% and generates cash flow
The movement follows the publication this morning of the third quarter revenue, at €1,642 million. The organic decline of the Atos and Eviden units stands at 2.4%, compared to 11.0% in the first quarter and 5.8% in the second. The group also reported generating cash flow for the first time since the launch of the Genesis plan, with a net variation of approximately €44 million, and confirms its three annual objectives. The share gained 13.31% to €25.88, placing it second in the index among the strongest gains in the SBF 120, while the SBF 120 advanced 0.50%.
It had already recovered nearly 20% over the week, but remains down 54% over a year. According to filed disclosures, four funds hold 3.68% of the capital in a short position, a 0.68 percentage point increase from thirty days ago. A high level that signals institutional investors positioned against the stock or seeking to hedge an exposure, without allowing any conclusions to be drawn about their intentions.
50-day moving average crossed at €25.09 and resistance at €25.76 overcome during the session
On the moving averages front, the price is above the 50-day MA (€25.09), with a difference of 3.15%. It is also clearly above the 20-day MA (€21.95), up 17.90%.
