Bigben Interactive: Commercial Court Opens Accelerated Safeguard Procedure
The Commercial Court of Lille Métropole has authorized the opening of an accelerated safeguard procedure for the benefit of Bigben Interactive. The measure aims to implement the financial restructuring plan detailed by the group on August 4, 2026.
Two-Month Procedure Opened by the Lille Commercial Court
Bigben Interactive (ISIN FR0000074072) announced on August 17, 2026 that the Commercial Court of Lille Métropole accepted opening an accelerated safeguard procedure for its benefit, by judgment of the same date, in accordance with articles L. 628-1 and following of the Commercial Code.
This procedure has a duration of two months, possibly extendable by an additional two months by the Court. Its purpose is to allow the implementation of the Company's financial restructuring plan, as described in its press release of August 4, 2026.
Creditors and Shareholders Vote by Classes of Affected Parties
Under the supervision of the judicial administrators appointed by the Court, creditors and shareholders will be called upon to vote on the draft safeguard plan, within the framework of "classes of affected parties", before the Court rules on its adoption.
The Company clarified that the procedure concerns only its financial debt and has no impact on its relationships with its operational partners, particularly its suppliers.
Schedule of Forthcoming Operations
The Company indicated that it will inform the market of the next steps in its financial restructuring, and in particular the schedule of operations to take place within the framework of the accelerated safeguard procedure.
Bigben Interactive, whose headquarters is located in Lesquin, reported IFRS revenue of 284.5 million euros for the 2025-2026 fiscal year and employs more than 1,300 people, with 31 subsidiaries and a distribution network in more than 100 countries.
