Bigben Interactive: Revenue Down 12.8% in Second Quarter, Accessories Up
Bigben Interactive published on October 26, 2026 revenue from continuing operations of €46.4 million for the second quarter of its 2026-2027 fiscal year (July to September), compared to €53.2 million a year earlier. The decline stems primarily from Nacon's Catalogue activity, compared to a quarter that had concentrated the three major launches of the previous fiscal year. In the same period, accessories grew by 28.7%.
This is the first quarterly publication established under IFRS 5 standard, applied following the disposal of the Bigben Connected subsidiary announced on October 8. It comes as Nacon has been in judicial receivership since March 2, 2026 and the group continues its financial restructuring.
Continuing Operations: €46.4 Million in Second Quarter, Down 12.8%
The Nacon Gaming division achieved €40.7 million in revenue for the quarter, compared to €46.8 million a year earlier, a decline of 13.0%. The Bigben Audio-Video/Telco division recorded €5.7 million, down 11.4%. Activities held for sale, presented separately under IFRS 5, reached €23.9 million, compared to €25.8 million, a decline of 7.3%.
Cumulative reading differs from that of the single quarter. Over the first six months of the fiscal year, revenue from continuing operations stood at €83.5 million, down 6.4%, after a first quarter up 3.0% at €37.1 million. Nacon Gaming declined 6.1% for the half-year at €73.3 million, after growth of 4.1% in the first quarter.
Prior year data have been restated. Second quarter 2025-2026 revenue had been published at €79.0 million before IFRS 5 application.
High Comparison Base on Games, Accessories Up 28.7%
Catalogue activity (new games) generated €13.7 million for the quarter, compared to €22.8 million a year earlier. According to the company, sales of The Mound, which ranks among Nacon's major launches, and Tour de France 26 were offset by a high comparison base. The second quarter 2025-2026 had indeed seen the release of Hell is Us, Rugby League and RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business.
Back Catalogue (games released in previous fiscal years) reached €14.1 million, up 0.9%. Accessories grew 28.7% to €11.6 million, a trend the group attributes to recovery in the American market and new RIG headset ranges.
On the audio-video side, the company cited a distribution market penalized by declining store traffic and slowing consumer spending. Metronic France and Bigben Interactive are each subject to an adaptation plan aimed at favoring higher value-added channels, accompanied by cost-saving plans intended to reduce fixed charges. Bigben Connected, sold on October 8, 2026 to Modelabs, will be deconsolidated from the second half; the group collected €35 million upon completion of the transaction, with the balance of the price taking the form of vendor financing.
Full Third Quarter Calendar, Nacon Headcount Reduced to 814
For the third quarter, the group highlighted year-end sales and a full release calendar: MXGP 26, available since October 1, Hunting Simulator 3, expected October 29, and Edge of Memories, scheduled for December 3. Accessories should rely on the new RIG headsets and the Revolution 5 Unlimited controller, under official PlayStation 5 license, launched in October.
On the legal front, the observation period for Nacon's receivership was extended until March 2, 2027 by judgment of July 1, 2026. A restructuring plan including debt restructuring is to be submitted shortly to the Lille Métropole Commercial Court. That same court set December 9, 2026 as the hearing date for examining Bigben Interactive's accelerated safeguard plan.
Nacon has closed three studios and finalized the restructuring of two others. Its headcount decreased from 1,125 employees on March 31, 2026 to 814 on September 30, 2026, with a 28% reduction at headquarters. First half 2026-2027 results will be published on November 30, 2026.
