Bio-UV Group lowers 2026 forecast to 35-39 M€, revenue decline now possible
The water treatment specialist, listed on Euronext Growth, now expects revenues of 35 M€ to 39 M€ for the current fiscal year. The lower bound of this range sits below the level reached in 2025: an annual revenue lower than last year is therefore among the outcomes considered by the group.
2026 target lower than the one set after fiscal year 2025
Bio-UV Group announced on October 16, 2026 the revision of its revenue outlook for fiscal year 2026, which covers the period from January 1 to December 31. The group, headquartered in Lunel (Hérault), had been expecting annual revenues between 38 M€ and 42 M€. The new range, reduced by 3 M€ at each end, corresponds according to the company to a 7% correction compared to previous forecasts.
This revision gains significance when viewed against the accounts of the previous fiscal year. Bio-UV Group had achieved revenues of 35.91 M€ in 2025. In its report on that fiscal year, the group had then indicated it was targeting around 40 M€ for 2026, a level consistent with the initial range of 38 M€ to 42 M€.
The new forecast changes this perspective. Its upper bound, 39 M€, remains below the target of around 40 M€ stated at the end of 2025. Its lower bound, 35 M€, sits slightly below the previous year's revenue. The range thus covers a spectrum ranging from a slight decline to growth compared to last year.
The revision comes as the first half has closed. When publishing its half-year accounts on September 18, 2026, the group reported virtually flat revenues at 20.1 M€. The reduction in the annual forecast thus concerns the pace of activity expected until the end of the fiscal year, which is weighed down by the commercial factors detailed by the company.
Lengthened decision cycles in Asia-Pacific, projects postponed in the Middle East
The group attributes this revision principally to two geographical factors. In Asia-Pacific, certain clients have extended their decision cycles. In the Middle East, several projects have been postponed or cancelled, in a geopolitical environment that the company describes as still uncertain in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, these elements primarily affect the timeline for realizing certain business opportunities identified by the group. The nuance matters for interpreting the announcement: a time shift and a disappearance of opportunities do not have the same impact. The document mentions both scenarios in the Middle East, with postponements but also cancellations.
The mechanism is that of an activity partly linked to projects. When the completion of an order slips in time, the corresponding revenue can slip with it from one fiscal year to another, which explains why the company reasons in terms of timeline.
Management highlights the diversification of its markets, its exposure to water quality-related needs, and business activity it describes as active across all its segments. Laurent-Emmanuel Migeon, chairman and chief executive officer, indicated that the group "continues with determination the implementation of its strategic roadmap", in an environment he considers marked by significant uncertainties.
Arrival of a Solutions Commercial Director and renewal of Veolia contract
Alongside this revision, Bio-UV Group detailed several organizational changes. Boris Delmas will join the group on November 1, 2026 as Commercial Director Solutions. According to the chief executive, this appointment completes the structuring around three divisions: Products, Solutions and Services.
It extends a first step announced during the half-year publication: the internalization of sales forces on the French swimming pool market, a segment on which the group positions itself as number 1 in Europe and number 3 worldwide. During that same publication, the stock had declined 7% during the session, reaching a low not seen since 2018.
On the industrial front, the Triogen subsidiary signed its manufacturing contract with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions for three additional years. Laurent-Emmanuel Migeon sees this as a sign of "renewed confidence" from this partner.
