Biosynex: safeguard plan approved for diagnostic specialist, €20.1M in liabilities targeted
By judgment handed down on October 12, 2026, the Strasbourg court ended the safeguard proceedings opened on September 29, 2025 for the diagnostic test specialist listed on Euronext Growth Paris. The plan becomes binding on all parties, including affected parties who voted against it.
Observation period extended until September 28, 2026
The plan approved by the Strasbourg District Court was presented at the hearing on September 28, 2026. It had previously been approved by the affected parties in September, according to the company's press release of September 25, 2026. The court's decision ratifies this approval.
The proceedings had been opened on September 29, 2025, with an observation period initially set at six months, until March 28, 2026. This was subsequently extended until September 28, 2026. The group, based in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, employs approximately 390 employees and achieved revenues of €95 million in 2025.
Reduction of liabilities of €20.1M envisaged, subject to conditions
The court appointed SAS Weil-Guyomard-Lutz, represented by Master Weil, as plan execution commissioner, responsible for ensuring its proper implementation. On the basis of the claims certificate established by the statutory auditors, its execution could lead to a reduction in liabilities of €20.1 million in principal, through debt forgiveness granted by unsecured creditors.
This amount remains subject to final admission of liabilities. Under the same conditions, it provides for forgiveness of accrued or accruing interest on bank loans. Detailed terms are set out in the press release published by the company on September 4, 2026.
Management evokes business continuity, results expected October 21
"A decisive step was taken today with the court's approval of the safeguard plan, marking our official exit from the proceedings," commented Larry Abensur, Chief Executive Officer of Biosynex. According to him, this step "guarantees the continuity of Biosynex's activities, in the best interest of all stakeholders".
The company indicated that its next communication would concern its 2026 half-year results and third-quarter 2026 revenues, on October 21, 2026 after trading.
