Cegedim Business Services Enhances Hospi-DM with a Medical Device Loan and Consignment Module
At the 36th Euro-Pharmat Days, scheduled for October 13-15, 2026 in Rennes, the Cegedim Group subsidiary presents the advances of its Hospi-DM solution and announces a new module dedicated to managing loans and consignments of medical devices.
Hospi-DM, a Modular Solution for Medical Device Traceability
Cegedim Business Services, a subsidiary of the Cegedim Group specializing in digital solutions for finance, procurement, sales and human resources functions, highlights its Hospi-DM offering, which brings together a core set of services aimed at compliance with the traceability regulations for medical devices (MD) and implantable medical devices (IMD). This traceability covers health, financial and logistics aspects.
The offering is based on interfaces with hospital information systems, optical reading of bar codes and datamatrix codes, as well as technologies such as EDI and RFID for stock entries and inventories. The company indicates that 60% of its customer base has opted for the new SaaS version, resulting from the migration of its historical Sedistock solution to Hospi-DM.
Hospi-Connect Loan and Consignment, Deployment Between Late 2026 and First Half 2027
Cegedim Business Services announces the Hospi-Connect Loan and Consignment module, developed with healthcare facilities and MD/IMD manufacturers, to cover all loan and consignment circuits between facility and industrial partner. The offering is structured as a catalog of à la carte services: some are already available, others will be rolled out gradually between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first half of 2027.
Cegedim Business Services has also designed the PIONEERS Program, intended to support each stakeholder, manufacturer or hospital facility, in activating its ecosystem. According to Christophe Couvreur, Director of Hospital Health Activity, MD/IMD can represent up to a quarter of a facility's healthcare product expenses, and several billion euros circulate each year in loan or consignment across the national territory.
