D.A.T.E. acquires Sofilema-NMGP, first step in external growth following IPO
Just days after its listing on Euronext Growth, D.A.T.E. is leveraging funds raised during its IPO to acquire 100% of SOFILEMA-NMGP, a leading French specialist in precision mechanics for aeronautics. The transaction marks the first concrete milestone of the external growth strategy presented at the time of the stock market transaction.
Acquisition of 100% of SOFILEMA-NMGP, effective October 1, 2026
D.A.T.E. (ISIN code FR0014018PW8, ticker symbol ALDAT) announced on October 1, 2026 the completion of the acquisition of 100% of SOFILEMA-NMGP, a French mechanical engineering company specializing in measurement instruments for civil and military aviation.
The transaction was made possible by funds raised during the IPO and constitutes, according to the company, the first concrete realization of its targeted external growth strategy. The combination aims to complement the group's skills in engineering and precision manufacturing, strengthen control of its value chain and broaden its development prospects.
SOFILEMA conducts precision mechanics engineering activities in France and abroad. Based in Argenteuil, in the Paris region, the company relies on a team of 12 employees and owns 100% of NMGP, specialized in the manufacturing and mechanical processing of precision parts, general mechanics, optomechanics and optics.
NMGP has a production facility that complements SOFILEMA's engineering activities. Its competencies cover precision machining, tooling production, electrical discharge machining and three-dimensional inspection. This combination allows D.A.T.E. to broaden its exposure to aeronautics and complement its portfolio of industrial skills.
Approximately €2 million in additional revenue and equity-financed transaction
The acquisition brings approximately €2 million in additional annual revenue, with profitability that D.A.T.E. describes as in line with its standards. The company notes that SOFILEMA-NMGP presents a limited level of financial debt.
The transaction is fully financed from D.A.T.E.'s equity. It follows the IPO completed in late September 2026, in which the offering was oversubscribed 1.8 times, at a price of €19.36 per share, for a demand of €20.1 million.
Beyond the financial contribution, D.A.T.E. highlights the commercial and industrial complementarities between the two companies, with cross-selling opportunities between their client portfolios. The transaction is part of a vertical integration logic, allowing the group to internalize certain activities currently outsourced and to strengthen control of the various stages of project implementation.
Increased exposure to aeronautics through leading clients
SOFILEMA-NMGP counts among its main clients four divisions of Safran (Transmission Systems, Aircraft Engines, Landing Systems and Electronics & Defense) as well as Air France Industries. The combination expands the scope of expertise that D.A.T.E. can mobilize, from studies and design to manufacturing and inspection of parts and tooling.
Philippe Bottu, Chief Executive Officer, indicated that this acquisition represents a first concrete realization of the external growth strategy presented during the IPO. He added that the transaction strengthens the industrial integration of the group and its ability to control the various stages of project implementation, from design to manufacturing.
D.A.T.E. specializes in the design and manufacture of high-performance thermal solutions for extreme environments, in the Defense and Deep Tech markets. The company is listed on Euronext Growth in Paris.
