D.A.T.E.: Revenue Up 16.4% in First Half, 5 to 6 M€ Target Confirmed
With revenue of 1.35 M€ in the first half of 2026, D.A.T.E. has confirmed its annual target of between 5 and 6 M€, excluding SOFILEMA-NMGP's contribution. To achieve this, the company is relying on identified business volume of 4.2 M€ that should result in deliveries and revenue recognition by the end of the fiscal year.
Finalized on October 26, 2026 by the board of directors, these half-yearly accounts do not include funds raised during the September stock market listing or the acquisition finalized in early October. They show EBITDA close to breakeven and a net result returned to positive, the latter driven by a tax benefit.
Revenue Up 16.4%, EBITDA Reduced to -9k€
Revenue for the first half of 2026 stood at 1,346 k€, compared to 1,156 k€ a year earlier, representing growth of 16.4%. It breaks down as 59% in Defense and 41% in Deep Tech. According to the company, growth was primarily driven by sales in France, whose share of revenue increased.
EBITDA came in at -10 k€, compared to -30 k€ in the first half of 2025. As a percentage of revenue, it improved from -2.7% to -0.7%. D.A.T.E. attributes this improvement to business growth and the control of operating expenses.
Net depreciation and provision charges declined to 0.03 M€, compared to 0.09 M€ a year earlier. Operating profit thus improved to -43 k€, compared to -117 k€, or -3.2% of revenue versus -10.1%.
Consolidated net income came in at +40 k€, compared to a loss of 40 k€ in the first half of 2025. This move into positive territory occurs while operating profit remains negative: it is explained by a tax benefit of 0.08 M€, which includes 70 k€ of research tax credit.
Activity Concentrated Year-End, Cash Position Increases
The company indicates that its half-yearly results are not fully representative of the expected performance over the fiscal year. The equipment delivery schedule and progress of customer programs concentrate a larger portion of revenue in the second half, while fixed charges are incurred throughout the year.
Fiscal year 2025 illustrates this mechanism. The first half showed EBITDA of -31 k€, while the full year ended with revenue of 3,813 k€, EBITDA of 895 k€ and net income of 647 k€.
On the balance sheet, equity stands at 1.3 M€ on June 30, 2026, compared to 2.0 M€ on December 31, 2025. This change notably reflects the half-year result and the dividend distribution approved by the general assembly on March 20, 2026.
Cash reaches 1.2 M€, compared to 0.6 M€ at end-2025, and financial debt 0.7 M€, compared to 0.4 M€. Net cash after financial debt stands at 0.5 M€, up by 0.3 M€. The half-yearly accounts were neither audited nor subject to a limited review by statutory auditors.
2026 Target Confirmed Between 5 and 6 M€, Excluding SOFILEMA-NMGP
For fiscal year 2026, D.A.T.E. has confirmed revenue of between 5 and 6 M€, excluding SOFILEMA-NMGP's contribution. As of end-June, the company identified 4.2 M€ of business to be delivered and recognized by year-end, to be added to the 1.35 M€ achieved in the first half. This is supplemented by approximately 0.6 M€ of potential additional orders still under commercial discussion.
Since the close of the half-year accounts, the company's financial profile has changed. The stock market listing on Euronext Growth Paris, completed on September 25, 2026, amounted to 14.5 M€ following full exercise of the over-allotment option, of which 11.6 M€ through capital increase. Demand reached 20.1 M€, or 1.8 times the initial offering, and free float was brought to approximately 33% of capital at the end of the stabilization period closed on October 23.
Effective October 1, 2026, D.A.T.E. finalized the acquisition of 100% of SOFILEMA-NMGP's capital. Based in Argenteuil, this team of 12 employees generates approximately 2 M€ in annual revenue in engineering and precision mechanics, tooling, electrical discharge machining and three-dimensional measurement. The company highlights a strengthening of its vertical integration and new opportunities, particularly in civil and military aeronautics.
In the longer term, chief executive officer Philippe Bottu reaffirmed the ambition to achieve, by 2030, revenue exceeding 35 M€ and EBITDA margin exceeding 30%. For the current fiscal year, the target relies on the effective delivery of the 4.2 M€ in identified business at end-June.
