DBT at the Élysée: MS180 Ultra-Rapid Charging Station Presented to Electrify France
DBT, a French expert in electric mobility, was selected on Tuesday from among 200 companies to participate in an event at the Élysée organized by the President of the Republic focusing on the formation of a 'French electricity team'. This initiative aims to explore ways to massively accelerate the electrification of the country and strengthen its energy independence.
DBT Introduces its MS180 Charging Station at the Élysée Palace
During this event, DBT showcased its MS180 ultra-rapid charging station from its Milestone range. Entirely designed in Hauts-de-France and manufactured predominantly with components from regional suppliers, this station can charge up to 300 kilometers of range in 20 minutes. The MS180 is compatible with the entire electric vehicle fleet (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks). Its development was supported by the France 2030 and France Relance plans, ensuring control of embedded software and payment solutions.
DBT Aims for 1,000 Rapid Charging Stations by 2031
DBT aims to play a leading role in the national network of charging infrastructure through its R3 Network (Rapid Recharge Network). With currently 84 operational stations, it targets 1,000 sites by the end of 2031. The strategic positioning focuses on destinations (shopping centers, restaurant chains, specialized supermarkets) rather than major transit routes. This expansion is part of a favorable context: the government has reaffirmed its goal of 400,000 charging points in France by 2030 (up from 160,000 currently), while private operators part of ChargeFrance have announced an investment of 3.5 billion euros for an additional 66,000 points.
