Drone Volt teams up with Belgium's Sol.One: at least €10M in orders per year over five years
Drone Volt has signed a cooperation and investment agreement with Belgian company Sol.One for the Saboteur UAV drone system. In addition to a commitment to purchase components, the agreement provides for each of the two companies to take a stake in the share capital of the other.
A joint development agreement for the Saboteur UAV, for civil and military use
The agreement was concluded with Sol.One (Sol1 BV), a Belgian company partnering in the development of the Saboteur UAV drone system. It aims to jointly develop this system in its civil and military versions.
The partnership also includes a commercial component. Sol.One grants Drone Volt the exclusive right to market Saboteur UAV systems to designated customers in France, as an independent reseller.

Sol.One has undertaken to order propulsion systems and components from Drone Volt for a minimum of €10 million per year over five consecutive years. As a result, Drone Volt becomes the exclusive supplier of these components for the needs of the Saboteur UAV.
For reference, the group had reported consolidated billings of €1.856 million for the third quarter of 2026 on October 14, 2026, down 3%. Its gross margin had increased by 52% over the period, to €1.1 million.
A cross-shareholding of €2.5M on each side
The financial component is based on a reciprocal investment. Sol.One will take a stake in the share capital of Drone Volt amounting to €2.5 million, based on the latest share prices prior to the completion of the transaction.
For its part, Drone Volt will take part in a capital increase of Sol.One for the same amount, within weeks of the announcement, according to the press release. For Marc Courcelle, Chief Executive Officer of Drone Volt, the agreement should enable the group to “become a key supplier of components” for the Saboteur UAV.
