The explosives manufacturer and distributor reported a gold medal awarded by the extra-financial rating agency EcoVadis for its 2026 assessment, as part of institutional communication on its sustainability approach.
Extra-Financial Rating Up Across All Four Pillars
EPC Group reported achieving an overall score of 83/100 in its 2026 CSR assessment by EcoVadis, an improvement of 7 points compared to 2025. This level places the group among the top 4% of companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide.
According to the company, the 2026 assessment highlights improved results across the four pillars analyzed by EcoVadis, namely environmental, social, ethical and supply chain-related areas. The group also indicates maintaining a performance level qualified as "Advanced" in the management of carbon-related issues.
A Network of "CSR Pilots" and Commitment to the Global Compact
The group clarified that it has established, over the past year, a network of "CSR Pilots" present within each operational subsidiary. This organization contributes to the monitoring of ESG indicators and the sharing of best practices across all countries where the group operates.
EPC Group also indicated that it joined the United Nations Global Compact at the beginning of 2026, a framework based on ten principles regarding human rights, international labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption. According to Emmanuel Baudet, General Secretary for Sustainability Policies, Public Affairs and Regulatory Matters of the group, this recognition reflects "the ambition to integrate sustainability issues" in the way it innovates, invests and serves customers.
