Eramet shares among the strongest gainers on the SBF 120, targeting 46.96 €
The mining and metallurgical group is posting a sharp rebound this Tuesday, within an SBF 120 itself showing slight gains. The movement continues a bullish momentum initiated in late September, following several weeks of volatility linked to mining operations in Indonesia.
A rebound that brings the security back above its two first moving averages
Eramet gains 2.12% during the session and trades at 45.32 €, ranking among the strongest gainers on the SBF 120 within an index up 0.33%. The security moves back above its MA20 (44.61 €) and MA50 (44.85 €), with respective gaps of 1.59% and 1.05%, consolidating the technical recovery initiated during the rebound of September 21st. The RSI at 49 remains neutral, without excess in either direction, which leaves room for movement both ways.
The nearest resistance stands at 46.96 €, approximately 3.6% above the current price, while support at 43.00 € provides a floor in case of reversal. The MA200 at 53.63 € remains conversely well above the current price, with a gap of 15.50%: closing this medium-term lag remains a distant prospect.
An operational context stabilizing after months of turmoil in Indonesia
This session rebound takes place within a more settled context for the group, following a turbulent sequence. The restart of the Weda Bay nickel mine, in Indonesia, following four months of maintenance shutdown, had rekindled interest in the stock in early September. The brief from September 10th documented a 3% jump at the moment of operational resumption. Since then, the stock has faced selling pressure before gradually recovering.
Over one year, the decline remains significant at -17.82%, which illustrates the magnitude of the correction suffered since autumn 2025. Beyond market trends, the group had also proceeded with the appointment of Stéphanie Constand as head of the Treasury and Financing Department, effective since August 1st, 2026, a sign of strengthening the financial team during a period of restructuring. The 46.96 € resistance now represents the next milestone to overcome to validate the continuation of the recovery.
