Eurofins Cerep: Revenue Up 18.2% in First Half 2026, Net Income at €4.8M
Eurofins Cerep published its first-half 2026 financial statements on September 22, 2026, marked by a recovery in the drug discovery market following the contraction observed a year earlier.
The specialist in in vitro pharmacology and ADME-toxicology, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, sees its main aggregates progress over the period, with the increase in revenue accompanied by an improvement in operating income.
Revenue of €21.55M, Supported by Drug Discovery and Biophysics
As of June 30, 2026, standalone revenue stood at €21,552k, compared to €18,231k on June 30, 2025, representing an increase of 18.22%.
According to the company, this growth is explained by the rise in the drug discovery market, following the contraction observed in June 2025 linked to economic and geopolitical uncertainties, as well as by the momentum of new biophysics activities.
All revenue comes from service activities, with the increase reaching €3,321k in value.
Operating Income and Net Income in Sharp Progression
Operating income for the first half of 2026 amounts to €3,650k, compared to €1,042k a year earlier, an increase of €2,608k.
The company attributes this development to the increase in revenue, combined with controlled growth in expenses (material consumption, personnel costs and other charges). Financial income came in at €1,088k, compared to €607k in the first half of 2025, while exceptional income stood at -€60k, compared to €68k.
In total, net income reached €4,806k, compared to €1,820k on June 30, 2025, an increase of €2,986k. The cash position stood at €18,612k on June 30, 2026, compared to €13,656k a year earlier, with the change over the half-year being -€2,431k.
Revenue Expected to Remain Stable in Second Half
The company indicates that the renewal of service contracts, as well as the development of contracts related to the biophysics platform and the integrated drug discovery platform, should make it possible to maintain revenue at a level close to that of the first half in the second half of the year.
In terms of research and development, Eurofins Cerep continues to explore new applications around its biophysics platform and extends its collaboration with the University of Poitiers, notably through hosting a doctoral student and exploring data science solutions.
The company's technologies are used by nearly 600 pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies worldwide.
