Euronext share reaches record high at €174.90 and hits resistance level
The pan-European exchange operator set a new all-time high in mid-morning trading, in a Paris market that declined significantly. The share nonetheless retreated below its daily peak, approaching a technical threshold, while French yields surged.
A peak at €174.90 that extends a series of record highs
The Euronext share touched €174.90 during the session, beating its previous record of €174.10, reached on October 21. The current price at €174.00 is virtually unchanged for the day (-0.06%), while the CAC 40 fell 1.46% and the SBF 120 lost 1.42%. This market resilience is part of a series of all-time highs: the share had already set a record on October 12, then another on October 19, and gained 4.32% over a week and 18.45% over three months.
The RSI at 74 reflects this bullish momentum, while the price remains 5.73% above its 20-day moving average and 19.85% above its 200-day moving average. The bond market environment is tense: the 10-year OAT stands at 4.99% according to the Banque de France reading on October 21, the highest level since 2004, and the spread with the Bund reaches 1.58 basis points. The CAC 40 retreats in this environment, but the exchange operator does not follow the trend.
JP Morgan raises its target to €177 while the share already exceeds €174
On October 20, JP Morgan raised its price target from €171 to €177, with a neutral rating. This target is approximately 1.7% above the current price of €174.00, while the day's peak at €174.90 is less than 1.5% away from it. Analyst consensus thus aligns with the level reached during trading. On the results side, the group published on July 30 a revenue increase of 16.9% and a record adjusted earnings per share of €2.42 in the second quarter of 2026.
A share buyback program of €250 million, announced on November 6, 2025, was executed at approximately 16% as of June 26, 2026. The technical resistance level is at €174.10, virtually at the current price.
