Eutelsat among the best performers of the SBF 120: stock gains 1.5%
The satellite operator's share is recovering during the session after a prolonged decline that has left it well below its spring levels. This rebound occurs in an SBF 120 barely oriented upward, while the stock ranks among the strongest gains in the index.
A rebound of 1.74% that only makes up a tiny fraction of the quarterly fall
The Eutelsat share gains 1.74% to €1.40 during the session, compared to €1.38 at the previous close. This gain barely mitigates a decline of 40.43% over three months and 52.14% over one year. The stock ranks among the strongest gains of the SBF 120, which advances 0.1%. The rebound does not change the extent of the recent slide: the share had already attempted a surge on Friday without stemming the decline, and it remains 25% lower than a month ago.
RSI at 22 and support at €1.38, the share rebounds on an already tested zone
The price is evolving just above the €1.38 support level, which it reached at the previous close. The RSI at 22 reflects the selling exhaustion of recent weeks and places the stock in oversold territory. The 20-day moving average at €1.65 is approximately 14.9% above the current price, which measures the gap to close to return to the short-term trend.
On the operational side, the operator announced on October 2 the completion of a first batch of 32 OneWeb satellites out of 669 planned to renew its constellation, spacecraft built by Airbus Defence and Space and intended for launch by SpaceX. The next technical level to watch remains the support at €1.38.
