According to the press release, Christophe Piron has over 25 years of international experience in finance, strategy, transformation, mergers and acquisitions and executive management, within listed companies, backed by private equity funds and with a technology component.
Before joining EVS, he notably served as Chief Financial Officer of Alcopa, then Chief Executive Officer of Bihr and Ecostal Group. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Ymagis, Boston Consulting Group and Bank Degroof Petercam.
Serge Van Herck, Chief Executive Officer of EVS, stated that he sought a Chief Financial Officer combining financial discipline, capital markets expertise, strategic thinking and international experience.
