Exail Technologies Secures Anti-Mine Drone Contract from a European Navy
Exail Technologies has won a contract from a European navy to supply three lightweight underwater mine countermeasure drone systems. These compact solutions, incorporating the group's UMIS technology, are designed for shallow water operations and can be quickly deployed from inflatable boats.
A Modular System for Environments with Limited Infrastructure
Each system integrates Exail's UMIS technology and combines Seascan identification underwater drones with K-Ster expendable neutralization drones. This modular architecture can be operated by a crew of just three people. The solution is specifically designed for very shallow water operations and in environments with limited infrastructure, where larger ships cannot operate. It fits into a logic of adapting Exail's technologies to different operational scales.
A New Segment of Modest Scale
Although more modest in scale than the mine countermeasure programs Exail has won in recent years, this contract represents a new reference for the group's lightweight drone systems.
