On August 27, 2026, Fnac announced the list of five finalists for the 25th Fnac Novel Prize. These are "Do Not Seek Chaos" by Marion Brunet (Albin Michel), "What Sleeps Under the Camellia" by Claudie O. Wetterwald (Éditions du Gros Caillou), "What Is at Stake" by Caroline Hinault (Éditions du Rouergue), "Here, Now" by Tom Newlands (Éditions Métailié) and "It Was That or Die" by Thélyson Orélien (Éditions Grasset & Fasquelle).
These five titles were selected from among the 30 novels of the fall literary season presented in early July. The jury is composed of 400 Fnac booksellers and 400 member readers.
