Forvia highlights a series of distinctions obtained in China in 2025 and 2026
The automotive equipment supplier released a press release reviewing a series of distinctions obtained in China from manufacturers and industry organizations. The group presents this market as a hub of innovation developed to serve its local and international customers.
A presence of over 30 years established as a local innovation hub
Forvia recalls a presence in China for over three decades and positions itself among the leading automotive equipment suppliers in the country, with relationships with the 20 largest manufacturers and a presence with Chinese equipment suppliers.
The group highlights a local approach based on the development in China of technologies designed to meet the needs of the Chinese and global market. It indicates having developed an industrial and innovation footprint covering seats, intelligent cockpit, lighting, electronics, sustainable development and the supply chain.
According to the press release, these awards illustrate Forvia's growing role in China as a strategic partner supporting the transformation and international expansion of the Chinese automotive industry.
Distinctions awarded by Geely, Chery and industry players
The press release details several distinctions received in 2025 and 2026. The adaptive seat system received the EAC Smart Glory Award, presented in Shanghai on May 28, 2026, and the Transformer Seat received the Sino-French Partnership Award from the CCI France China on May 29, 2026.
Forvia HELLA was distinguished by Geely (Technological Innovation Award, associated with the Zeekr 8X Galaxy Diamond Matrix front projector integrating the SSL | HD platform) and by Chery (Best Supply Chain Partner Award, linked to a locally developed 77 GHz radar solution for European programs). The 12-volt lithium-ion battery pack also won the Zhilu Award 2026.
These awards supplement sector distinctions obtained in 2025 (CAAM prize, Jinlin Technology Innovation Award, Xiyi Awards, Gasgoo Awards, Lingxuan Awards, among others). "These distinctions reflect our ability to combine cutting-edge technologies, local agility and sustainable innovation to support our customers in one of the most demanding automotive markets in the world," said Ma Chuan, Executive Vice-President of Forvia China.
