Gimv Anchor Investments announced on September 9, 2026 the acquisition of a stake in Batenburg Techniek, a Dutch provider of industrial electrification and automation solutions based in Rotterdam.
The transaction is being carried out alongside VP Capital and the management team. It constitutes Gimv Anchor's first investment in a Dutch company, following its stakes in Cegeka and Azelis.
Gimv Anchor is the joint venture between Gimv and WorxInvest. It positions itself as a long-term shareholder supporting companies in their growth.
According to the press release, no financial details of the transaction will be disclosed. Completion remains subject to customary conditions, including obtaining regulatory approvals, and is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Its positioning aligns with two of Gimv's investment platforms, Sustainable Cities (electrification and energy transition) and Smart Industries (automation and digital industry).
