Green Earth partners with Africa Carbon Solutions and CORENA for reforestation in Senegal
Green Earth has announced a partnership with Africa Carbon Solutions and CORENA for a reforestation programme in Senegal.
This partnership opens a new country to a group whose nature-based projects activity has so far been mainly concentrated in East Africa, notably in Kenya.
A reforestation programme carried out with Africa Carbon Solutions and CORENA
The partnership brings together three players: Green Earth, Africa Carbon Solutions and CORENA. It covers a reforestation programme located in Senegal.
Green Earth markets carbon credits, biodiversity credits and plastic credits. It also offers nature-based solutions and supports the development of carbon projects.
In Kenya, more than 1.5 million tonnes of credits already committed in April
On 28 April 2026, Climate Impact Partners, Green Earth and a multinational pharmaceutical group had announced a long-term offtake agreement covering an agroforestry project in Kenya.
This agreement covers the entire expected volume of verified carbon credits from the project, i.e. more than 1.5 million tonnes. This type of contract provides the developer with a buyer for its future production of credits.
Projects monitored in Kenya and a plastic collection in Sri Lanka
Among the recent progress updates highlighted by Green Earth are the first harvests and the coffee planting in Bungoma, Kenya, as well as the preparation of farmers for the planting season in Bulindi.
Outside forest carbon, Green Earth Group and Eco Spindles had launched the Green Wheels project in Sri Lanka in December 2025, dedicated to nationwide plastic collection.
