Haulotte: Stable sales in third quarter, +4% over nine months driven by Europe
Haulotte published on October 27, 2026 revenue of €121 million for the third quarter, stable year-on-year (−1% at constant exchange rates and excluding IAS 29 application, the hyperinflation standard applied in Argentina and Turkey). Over the first nine months, consolidated sales reached €398 million compared to €384 million a year earlier, representing a 4% increase. The group indicated it targets growth of at least 5% in sales for the full year 2026.
The totals reflect contrasting trends across zones and business lines. Europe and equipment sales are advancing, while Asia-Pacific, Latin America and rental activities are declining. The aerial lift manufacturer, based in Lorette (Loire), attributes this context to an economic and geopolitical environment it describes as complex, which it believes is behind customer hesitancy and disrupted international flows.
Europe up 16% over nine months, Asia-Pacific down 18%
Europe remains the primary driver of activity. Continuing from the first half, the region shows revenue growth of 16% since the start of the year. In North America, third-quarter activity is comparable to the same period last year, bringing cumulative growth to 1% by end September.
Other regions are moving in the opposite direction. In Asia-Pacific, cumulative revenue is down 18% compared to 2025, in a context that the group says remains marked by the Middle East conflict. In Latin America, described as a less dynamic market than other zones, sales are down 25% over the current fiscal year.
The third quarter in isolation does not extend the cumulative pace: stable over the period, it compares to 4% growth over nine months. According to Haulotte, the global aerial lift market is continuing the positive momentum observed since the beginning of the year.
Equipment sales up 7%, rental and services declining
The breakdown by business line shows growth driven by equipment sales. As of September 30, 2026, equipment sales increased by 7%. Rental and service activities declined 19% and 3% respectively over the same period.
The cumulative sales increase therefore rests on the core industrial business, while complementary activities are contracting. This trend occurs as the group reports customer hesitancy and international flows still affected by the geopolitical context.
This pattern extends that of the first half: when publishing its half-year accounts on October 6, 2026, Haulotte had reported revenue of €276.7 million, up 5%, and recurring operating income of €8.5 million.
Growth of at least 5% targeted for 2026, positive recurring operating margin expected
Haulotte indicated that, despite limited visibility and a global environment still uncertain, it should be able to post sales growth of at least 5% in 2026. This growth should enable the group to return to a positive recurring operating margin, close to that posted in the first half.
This objective follows the trajectory presented with the 2025 fiscal year accounts, published on March 10, 2026. The group had then achieved revenue of €510.7 million, for an operating result of −€4.6 million and a net loss of €37.5 million, and had targeted revenue of around €536 million for 2026. Following the half-year results on October 6, the net loss had been reduced to €10.3 million, in a context where bank financing remains linked to compliance with financial ratios by end 2026.
The next publications are scheduled for February 9, 2027 for annual revenue and March 9, 2027 for annual results. As of September 30, cumulative sales growth stands at 4%, against an annual target of at least 5%.
