Heatwave: Korian Opens Its 260 Air-Conditioned Facilities to Seniors for Free
In response to the severe heat episodes affecting several departments, Korian has launched the 'Coolness' operation, allowing elderly individuals who are isolated or without a cooling solution at home to access the air-conditioned spaces of its facilities for free. This initiative is part of the group's mission to prevent risks to vulnerable populations.
Free Access to Korian Homes for the Elderly During Heatwaves
Throughout the duration of the heatwave episodes, the 260 participating Korian nursing homes will welcome isolated elderly individuals, those without home cooling solutions, or those facing difficulties related to the heat, free of charge. Visitors can rest in an air-conditioned environment, hydrate, and interact with staff and residents in a friendly and secure setting.
Depending on the facility, activities, moments of conviviality, or meals by reservation may also be offered to visitors.
