Hoffmann Green Completes Its First Clinker-Free Concrete Project in the United States
Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies has completed its first clinker-free concrete project on American soil, an operation carried out for industrial group Marquis INC. This achievement marks the entry of the Vendée-based company into the operational phase on the construction market in the United States.
A First Reference for Marquis INC in Illinois
The project involved an industrial platform operated by Marquis INC located in Illinois, near the borders with Indiana and Missouri. Marquis INC is an American family-owned group that has been operating for nearly 50 years, specializing in low-carbon solutions in the sectors of energy, biofuels, agriculture and infrastructure.
The group produces more than 1.5 billion liters of renewable ethanol annually and develops activities in proteins and animal feed, sustainable fuels, industrial alcohol and industrial infrastructure.
According to Hoffmann Green, this achievement constitutes a concrete first reference on this market and aims to demonstrate the company's ability to implement its 0% clinker technologies in a local American industrial environment.
Continuation of American Approval Procedures
Following the obtainment of ASTM C1157 certification, the company is pursuing its work aimed at obtaining AC 529 approval, which should allow it to expand the scope of application of its technologies and cover all concrete construction applications on the American market.
Hoffmann Green describes the American construction market as a strategic opportunity, citing its size, the importance of investments in industrial and energy infrastructure and the search for solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of projects.
