Innate Pharma: PACIFIC-9 initial results postponed to first half of 2027
In a press release published on October 27, 2026, Innate Pharma announced that AstraZeneca, which is conducting the trial, has updated the planned timeline for the publication of initial results. Originally expected in the second half of 2026, they are now scheduled for the first half of 2027.
According to the company, this revised timeline is related to the nature of the study, which is based on the occurrence of events.
A phase 3 trial with recruitment completed in lung cancer
PACIFIC-9 evaluates Durvalumab in combination with Monalizumab or Oleclumab in patients with unresectable stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The patients involved are those whose disease has not progressed after platinum-based chemoradiotherapy.
Patient recruitment in the trial is complete. The timeline for reading the initial results therefore now depends on the occurrence of events on which the study is based.
Monalizumab, for which AstraZeneca acquired the rights in oncology in 2018
Monalizumab is an anti-NKG2A antibody developed by Innate Pharma in collaboration with AstraZeneca. The British company acquired all rights to it in oncology in October 2018, as part of a co-development and commercialization agreement initiated in 2015.
The Marseille-based biotech presents Monalizumab as one of its two advanced-stage assets developed in partnership, alongside Lacutamab, conducted with Sobi in T-cell lymphomas. Its proprietary portfolio is focused on antibody-drug conjugates, led by IPH4502, which targets Nectin-4 and is in clinical development in solid tumors.
