Jensen-Group: Revenue up 20% in H1, Net Income Declining

Jensen-Group published its half-year results on August 6, 2026, marked by revenue and EBIT growth, while net income attributable to shareholders declined.

This gap is largely explained by a lower contribution from equity-accounted companies and an increase in the share attributable to minority interests. The Belgian group, specialized in equipment for industrial laundries, also shows order intake at a high level, while reporting a slowdown in the second quarter.

Jensen-Group: Revenue up 20% in H1, Net Income Declining

Revenue at €316.2 Million, Net Income at €28.8 Million

Over the first six months of 2026, Jensen-Group's revenue stood at €316.2 million, up 20.2% compared to €263.1 million in the first half of 2025. Operating profit (EBIT) increased by 10.3%, to €39.1 million against €35.5 million a year earlier.

EBITDA came in at €45.5 million, up 12% year-on-year. Conversely, consolidated net income attributable to shareholders declined by 11.1%, to €28.8 million compared to €32.4 million at end-June 2025, bringing earnings per share to €3.14, down 8.6% compared to €3.43 a year earlier.

The gap between EBIT growth and net income decline is explained by several elements identified in the press release. The group's share in the results of associated companies and equity-accounted entities fell by 64%, to €1.4 million compared to €3.9 million a year earlier, with the group noting that its stakes in Inax and Tolon had a less favorable impact than the previous year.

Profit before tax stood at €38.8 million, down 5% compared to €40.8 million in the first half of 2025. The share of results attributable to minority interests increased from €0.089 million to €0.728 million. Margin ratios declined slightly year-on-year, with the EBIT/revenue ratio falling from 13.49% to 12.38% and the EBITDA/revenue ratio from 15.40% to 14.39%.

Order Intake Rising, but Caution Displayed for Second Half

Order intake for the first half reached €279.2 million, up 7.9% year-on-year. The group notes, however, that order intake in the second quarter of 2026 (€110.5 million) was below that of the second quarter of 2025, leading it to exercise caution for the second half in a context of increased market uncertainty.

Jensen-Group indicates it is continuing its investments in expanding production capacity in the United States, as well as in artificial intelligence and robotics. The board of directors also decided, on May 18, 2026, to implement a new buyback program covering a maximum of 963,140 shares, representing 10% of its capital, from September 1, 2026 until June 2, 2028. The market capitalization at end of period stood at €778.0 million, up 44% compared to end-December 2025.
