L'Oréal stock leads the CAC 40 and surges 5% after its Q3
The cosmetics group dominates the Paris session, while the flagship index declines. The market welcomes a quarter better than expected, while two brokerage houses raised their price targets this morning.
L'Oréal stock gains 4.76% to €432.65 and holds the top position in the CAC 40, which fell 0.77% at midday. The group published on October 22 revenue of €11.56 billion in the third quarter, versus €11.22 billion expected on average by analysts, thereby exceeding the top of their range (€11.39 billion). Comparable adjusted growth of 7.7% exceeds the cumulative pace for the nine months (6.9%), despite a decline in Latin America linked to difficulties in Mexico. Analyst opinions followed suit today.
