Lhyfe Expands Its Fleet to 84 Tube-Trailers, Surpassing 1,000 Deliveries by 2025
Green hydrogen producer Lhyfe has acquired 10 new Hexagon Purus containers, expanding its fleet to 84 type IV tube-trailers. This state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure supports the company's expansion of deliveries to European mobility and industrial clients.
A Fleet of 84 Containers Serving European Distribution
Lhyfe now operates 84 type IV tube-trailers dedicated to hydrogen transport, among the largest and most modern fleets in Europe. These next-generation containers, supplied by Hexagon Purus, are lighter, more durable, and meet the requirements for RFNBO certification (renewable fuels of non-biological origin). The company has developed a range of 4 container sizes and 2 compression levels to meet various demand profiles.
This fleet has enabled Lhyfe to exceed 1,000 deliveries in 2025 and deliver green hydrogen to 9 European countries. Around 60 clients have achieved decarbonization of their activities through these operational capabilities.
An Integrated and Structured Supply Chain
Beyond its transport fleet, Lhyfe has structured its supply chain around several elements: 15 storage sites spread across Europe to optimize costs and secure deliveries; partnerships with 4 carriers specialized in hazardous materials, with 60 qualified and trained drivers; agreements with third-party local producers to cover areas where Lhyfe does not yet have production capabilities; and digital tools for bulk management (demand forecasting, filling scheduling, compatibility management, production control).
On the production side, the company operates 4 operational sites (3 in France, 1 in Germany) certified RFNBO in 2025, with an installed capacity of 21 MW expected to increase by 70% in 2026.
An Acceleration of Deliveries Across Europe
In 2025, Lhyfe recorded more than 850 deliveries across Europe, an increase of over 80% compared to 2024, averaging 55 deliveries per month. The expansion focused on France, Sweden, and Germany, serving mobility clients (BMW Group, TEAL Mobility, H2 Mobility) and industrial clients (Karp Kneip, Essent). This reliable logistics infrastructure allows Lhyfe to access the most demanding markets, including the chemical industry, which requires high purity and absolute regularity in deliveries.
Since commissioning its first site in 2021, Lhyfe claims to have prevented the emission of 4 million tonnes of CO2 through its production of green hydrogen.
