MaaT Pharma stock soars 16.5% after FDA green light on MaaT034
The Lyon-based biotech rebounds sharply during the session following a favorable regulatory feedback from the United States on its solid tumor candidate. The movement contrasts with the trajectory of recent months, in a nearly stable Paris market.
A gain that only partially offsets the decline accumulated over the quarter
MaaT Pharma stock gains 16.67% to €1.19, compared to €1.02 the previous day, placing it among the strongest gains on the Paris exchange in today's ranking. Over seven days, the stock advances 30.34%, but this rally remains far from erasing its decline of 54.58% over three months and 72.39% over one year. The price has risen back above its MA20 (€1.03, spread of +15.53%), while it remains well below the MA50 (€2.03) and MA200 (€4.29). The RSI at 32.61 is still close to the oversold zone, which aligns with a rebound after a period of strong selling pressure.
FDA feedback on MaaT034 against a limited cash horizon until December
Following a pre-IND (Investigational New Drug) meeting, MaaT Pharma indicated on October 19 that the American health authority did not anticipate additional non-clinical safety studies on MaaT034, its solid tumor candidate. The company aims for a first human study by end of 2027, subject to obtaining financing. However, the cash horizon is estimated at December 2026, as indicated in the first half publication, with €17.1 million in cash as of June 30. The support threshold at €0.91 and resistance at €2.80 now frame the price.
