Mersen Share: +9% Over the Quarter, Carbon Specialist Advances 2.5%
The carbon materials specialist rebounds in a well-oriented Paris market, following two sessions of decline. The movement provides relief to a security that remains highly bullish over twelve months, and the vast majority of technical benchmarks are found below the current price.
A rebound that places the price above its three moving averages
In mid-afternoon, the Mersen share gains 2.61% to €40.84, while the SBF 120 advances 1.04% and the CAC 40 rises 0.99%. This gain erases the slight decline of the week (-0.83% over seven days) and brings the price above the MA20 (€40.03, difference of 2.02%) as well as the MA50 (€39.42, difference of 3.60%). The security remains especially well positioned above the MA200, at €33.22, some 22.94% lower than the current price, which underscores the strength of the underlying trend: +55.29% over one year. The share ranks in the upper half of SBF 120 values during the session, however far from the strongest gains of the day.
