Michelin Guide: first selection in Colorado, 63 distinguished establishments

A first selection covering all of Colorado

The Michelin Guide unveiled its first selection of restaurants covering the entire state of Colorado. The roster includes 63 selected establishments, representing 22 different cuisine styles.

The Milpero establishment in Denver joins the category of addresses distinguished with a Michelin Star. The selection also includes three new Bib Gourmand designations, a distinction awarded to establishments offering quality cuisine at moderate prices: Annette in Aurora, as well as Pig and Tiger and Rougarou, both in Denver.

According to the Guide, this expanded selection reflects the destination's evolution since its inception in 2023, when the brand first established a presence in the state.

Special awards and Mindful Voices platform

The Michelin Guide announced four Special Awards, including the Michelin Award for Exceptional Cocktails, the Michelin Award for Sommellerie, the Michelin Award for Service, and the Michelin Award for Young Chef. The distinguished restaurants also join the Guide's hotel selection in Colorado.

The group also highlighted its Mindful Voices platform, created in 2026, presented as an editorial space bringing together chefs, hoteliers and winemakers. According to Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, this initiative aims to give a voice to personalities in the sector.

This selection is part of the Michelin Guide's North American expansion, which began in New York in 2005 and has since extended to several cities and states, including the American South in 2025, the American Southwest in 2026, and the American Great Lakes planned for 2027.
