Plesio (formerly Casino) repays €14.7 million of Quatrim debt, reduced to €94 million
The nominal amount of Quatrim secured bonds is now reduced to €94 million, according to a press release issued on October 21, 2026 by the group, which adopted the name Plesio on the previous day to replace Casino.
€14.7 million in capital and €0.6 million in accrued interest repaid
The transaction was completed on October 20, 2026 and concerns the secured debt of Quatrim, a subsidiary of the group. The repayment is divided between €14.7 million in capital and €0.6 million in accrued interest on the repaid capital. This interest corresponds mainly to PIK interest due for the period between April 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026.
According to the group's definition, PIK interest is interest capitalized to the principal of the debt and not paid in cash. Following the transaction, this amount is reduced to €3.5 million.
Debt extended to January 15, 2028 and under renegotiation
This repayment follows the exercise, announced on October 13, 2026, of an extension option provided for in the documentation of these securities, which postponed their maturity to January 15, 2028. On September 22, 2026, the group reported a preliminary agreement with a group of holders representing approximately 35% of this debt, with a view to deferral until January 2029.
Quatrim debt is part of the financing covered by discussions initiated by the group on its financial structure. On October 1, 2026, RCF creditors, Quatrim and operational financing had agreed to extend their consent until October 31, 2026 as part of these negotiations.
