Renault Entrusts Its Twingo E-Tech to Artist Joshua Vides on the Champs-Élysées
Renault continues its strategy of collaborating with contemporary creators by giving American artist Joshua Vides free rein to reinterpret its Twingo E-Tech electric vehicle. This initiative is part of an ongoing dialogue between contemporary art and automotive design that the manufacturer has been fostering since 2021.
Live Artistic Transformation
From April 8 to 13, Joshua Vides performed a live transformation of the Twingo E-Tech electric vehicle in front of an audience. The artist applied his iconic black and white graphic style to shift the vehicle from reality into the realm of sketches. This original creation exemplifies the dialogue between contemporary art, automotive design, and popular culture.
Exhibition on the Champs-Élysées
The reinterpreted work by Joshua Vides is on display at the Renault showroom located at 53 Champs-Élysées in Paris until June 9, as part of the Pop Art Car exhibition. This exhibition continues Renault's strategy of collaborating with contemporary designers, which began in 2021 to create unique concepts that reinterpret the brand's heritage.
