Saint-Gobain banking on Latin America to drive European growth recovery

Beyond today's movement, the group announced on August 24th two initiatives in Latin America, detailed in external growth operations in Peru and an industrial investment in plaster in Brazil, with the aim of meeting regional demand. This geographic expansion comes in the context of already published half-yearly results: first half 2026 revenue stood at €23.6 billion, nearly stable on a comparable basis (+0.7%), with notable acceleration in the second quarter thanks to Europe's rebound (+4.1%). EBITDA margin, however, declined to 15.4%.
