Sartorius Stedim Biotech Stock Breaks Through its 215.80 € Resistance and Accelerates
Sartorius Stedim Biotech is posting a sharp advance on Monday, bringing its gain to 24.2% over three months in an almost stable SBF 120. The upward momentum of the stock is supported by a significant technical breakout achieved during the session, following several weeks of steady recovery since its summer lows.
A Resistance Breakout Confirming the Bullish Momentum of Recent Weeks
Sartorius Stedim Biotech advances 2.45% to 217.60 € during the session, posting one of the best performances of the SBF 120 on Monday. The stock broke above its resistance level at 215.80 € during trading and is holding there, extending a dynamic already visible since the start of the month: the stock is showing nearly 10% gains over the past week and more than 10% over the month. This rebound continues from the breakout of the 201.60 € resistance on September 22, which had already marked a notable bullish inflection. The next identified resistance level stands at 223 €, approximately 2.5% above the current price.
Solid Technical Configuration, High Valuation Against a Background of Sustained Growth
The stock is trading above its three moving averages, with a gap of nearly 11% compared to the MA20 at 196.09 € and more than 17% compared to the MA50 at 185.78 €. The MA200, at 182.01 €, is also clearly outpaced, with the price exceeding it by nearly 20%. The RSI at 67 is approaching overbought levels without reaching them, which leaves room before any exhaustion signal.
This momentum is accompanied by tight valuation: according to the consensus of surveyed analysts, the stock is trading at approximately 43.5 times expected earnings this year and 36.3 times those of the following fiscal year. At the publication of the first half of 2026 results on July 22, the company had confirmed its annual targets with revenue guidance of 3,153.8 M€ and an EBITDA target of 989.2 M€, benchmarks that remain the reference framework for assessing the stock's trajectory.
