Sidetrade: Revenue of €61.4M in 2025, EBITDA Margin at 22%
The AI Order-to-Cash specialist closed 2025 with a dual performance: accelerated growth and decreasing carbon footprint. This scenario is uncommon in the technology sector, where scaling up generally comes with increased energy consumption. This simultaneous progress of both metrics is based on a precise strategy of cloud optimization and digital sobriety, directly enhancing the group's competitiveness. It also attests to a differentiated approach to generative AI: instead of relying on generic public models, Sidetrade uses a proprietary infrastructure and an internally hosted Data Lake, independent of external third parties.
Revenue up by 14% Driven by Subscription Income
Sidetrade recorded a revenue of €61.4 million in 2025, up by 14% at constant exchange rates. This growth is primarily based on the acceleration of subscription revenues, which increased by 20% over the fiscal year. EBITDA reached €13.4 million, representing a margin of 22% of revenue.
These results are slightly above expectations. Analysts had forecasted a revenue of €71 million for the fiscal year 2026, suggesting a steady but non-linear progression. The EBITDA margin of 22% demonstrates a control of operational costs despite growth.
Energy Efficiency, a Lever for Competitiveness
The carbon intensity per invoice managed decreased by 16.7% in 2025, following a decline of 14.6% in 2024. On a like-for-like basis (excluding the acquisition of SHS Viveon), the group's carbon footprint stands at 1,886 tonnes CO₂ equivalent, down by 12%.
This improvement results from concrete infrastructure decisions. The switch to a unified private cloud and the application of FinOps approaches have reduced cloud infrastructure costs by more than 20% in 2025. The average energy efficiency of data centers (PUE) dropped to 1.29, down by 7% compared to 2024. Sidetrade operates its own cloud infrastructure and hosts its Data Lake on its own servers, without depending on a generic public AI model. According to the press release, this infrastructure manages nearly $9 trillion in B2B transactions and analyzes the payment behaviors of 42.5 million purchasing companies.
Strengthened Governance and External Validations
In 2025, the group earned the Gold medal from EthiFinance and confirmed its Silver medal from EcoVadis, with a 16-point increase in the responsible purchasing criterion. Sidetrade ranks among the top 15% of companies rated across all sectors. In terms of cybersecurity, the group has strengthened its SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II attestations and has continuously held its ISO/IEC 27001 certification since 2019. No data breaches were reported over the fiscal year. Gender parity is progressing with 44.4% women in the Executive Committee and a pay gap limited to 3%. In 2026, the group will focus its efforts on Scope 3, the main component of its carbon footprint.
