Sopra Steria in Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire a Division of Daher
Sopra Steria announced on Thursday that it is in exclusive negotiations to acquire the Manufacturing Engineering division of Daher Industrial Services. This move would allow the French technology group to significantly expand its aerospace manufacturing engineering capabilities, particularly with Airbus.
An Acquisition with Over 42 Million Euros in Annual Revenue
The targeted division employs more than 360 staff, primarily based in France, and generated revenue exceeding 42 million euros in 2025. This entity operates in two key areas of the aerospace manufacturing process: the preparatory pre-production phase and support for ramping up and improving process efficiency. The business also covers quality assurance, industrial performance, and the continuity of production processes. Since 1995, this portfolio has relied on a longstanding strategic partnership with Airbus, which is its main client.
Expansion of Aerospace Coverage
Sopra Steria, which has 51,000 employees in nearly 30 countries, aims to consolidate its position as a major technological and industrial player in major European aeronautical programs. The operation is part of the group's strategy to develop end-to-end expertise across the entire aerospace value chain, in response to the accelerating manufacturing processes and increasingly stringent industrial excellence standards. The group will thus be able to increase its capacity to serve large groups like Airbus across a wide range of critical industrial needs.
