Ubisoft Appoints Christoph Hartmann as Head of Creative House 2
Ubisoft has announced the appointment of Christoph Hartmann as the General Manager of Creative House 2, one of the creative divisions at the heart of its new organization. Hartmann will oversee the strategic direction and long-term development of the franchise portfolio including Tom Clancy's The Division, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
Twenty Years of Experience in the Video Game Industry
Christoph Hartmann brings over two decades of experience in building and managing global gaming organizations covering both development and publishing. He spent twenty years at Take-Two Interactive, where he held various roles and co-founded 2K Games, leading the label as its president until 2017. During his tenure, he guided teams responsible for major franchises including Borderlands, BioShock, Sid Meier's Civilization, NBA 2K, and XCOM, and supported early titles in the Grand Theft Auto saga. More recently, he served as Vice President at Amazon Games, overseeing all game-related activities.

Creative House 2 unites Ubisoft's teams and brands focused on delivering competitive, cooperative, and challenging battlefield gaming experiences. The portfolio includes iconic franchises such as Tom Clancy's The Division, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Additionally, March of Giants, a free-to-play multiplayer MOBA game acquired by Ubisoft in December, joins Creative House 2 with its teams based in Montreal, Paris, and Toronto.
