Van Lanschot Kempen has announced securing $120 million in client commitments at the first close of its second private equity fund focused on North America. This fundraising confirms the sustained investor demand for private markets despite geopolitical uncertainties.
A Fund Dedicated to Mid-Sized North American Companies
The Kempen North American Private Equity Fund II provides clients with exposure to small and medium-sized private companies in North America, through specialized managers and direct co-investments. This fund represents the second private equity strategy dedicated to North America and the sixth private equity fund launched by Van Lanschot Kempen since 2018.
Part of a Multi-Year Strategy for Expansion
The fund is part of a multi-year private equity program designed to allow clients to build a well-diversified portfolio. A next subscription round is scheduled for October 2026. Van Lanschot Kempen offers its private and institutional clients a wide range of private market solutions, including private equity, private debt, agricultural land, and unlisted real estate.
