Vusion share rebounds but still down more than 51% over one year
The specialist in connected electronic labels signs a rebound in mid-morning trading, standing out in an SBF 120 that is itself slightly positive. This recovery occurs as the share remains under pressure over longer horizons, with half-yearly results expected in the coming days.
A session rebound that fails to erase the downward pressure from moving averages
Vusion gains 1.73% during the session to €117.80, after closing at €115.80 the previous day. This movement places the share among the strongest gainers of the SBF 120, in an index that advances 0.21%. Nevertheless, the rebound only erases a fraction of the monthly decline: the share still falls 10% over one month and more than 51% over one year, which testifies to well-established structural downward pressure. The technical configuration remains unfavorable.
The price is trading below its three moving averages: the 20-day MA at €124.05, representing a 5% gap, the 50-day MA at €126.96 and the 200-day MA at €135.79, which represents a gap of more than 13%. The RSI at 36 reflects slight selling exhaustion without signaling outright oversold conditions. The support level at €114.60, already tested several times in recent weeks, remains the low reference to monitor should today's rebound run out of steam.
High short positions and half-yearly results expected on September 21
According to filed declarations, six funds accumulate a net short position of 3.99% of capital, slightly down 0.20 percentage point over thirty days. This level remains elevated and indicates that a notable share of institutional investors remain positioned downside on the value, although the erosion of the cumulative position over the month shows a slight easing of this pressure. This point warrants continued monitoring without drawing definitive conclusions on the direction of the share.
From a fundamental perspective, when publishing first-half 2026 results on July 30, Vusion had issued revenue guidance of €1,729.5 million. The next milestone for the share is the publication of 2026 half-yearly results, scheduled for September 21, which will provide updated insight into the group's financial trajectory in a context of global monetary tightening.
